Dr. Emil Filipov - Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Sofia

This is Dr. Emil Filipov is the Medical Director of MC “Afrodita” and “Future Health”.

Dr. Emil Filipov has over 35 years of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

He is also the responsible for the largest stem cell bank in Bulgaria, Future Health.

Education and Career:

Higher education: VMI "Iv. Pavlov," Plovdiv, 1972 - 1980. Residency: Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Haskovo, 1980 - 1986. Specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology obtained in 1985. Assistant at SBALAG "Mother's Home" Sofia since 1986.

Senior Assistant at SBALAG "Mother's Home" Sofia since 1989. Chief Assistant at SBALAG "Mother's Home" Sofia since 1994. .

Worked in all clinics of SBALAG "Mother's Home". Since 1997, working in the III gynecological clinic "Sterility and Gynecological Endocrinology"

Dr. Filipov has over 40 Bulgarian publications, mostly in "Obstetrics and Gynecology." He trains medical and dental students and leads specialty lectures in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as postgraduate courses in "Sterility," "Gynecological Endocrinology," and "Endoscopic Methods," organized by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
